In Search of the Message

This performance explored the way messages - or, more generally speaking, ideas, laws, presumptions, etc. - get embodied. Art is not neutral in this respect. Therefore, I tried to become a receiver of messages that were broadcasted and got circulating during an exhibition opening where other artists did some performances. The message-incarnation was kidnapped twice by custodians that wanted art to be pure, but was reappearing again and again in the midst of the audience.

The photographs on these pages are only documentary. The performance, however, also led to a book contribution that you can see here.
